Back to Training!
I’ve been saying that I’m going to go back and continue using a personal trainer for months now… Only to never go and make an appointment. I have about 20 sessions that I’ve paid for and not used — in months — with more sessions building up. I did finally make an appointment last week and I went back this morning (at 7 am, so early!!). The workout felt amazing! I’m sad that I didn’t keep up with it while I was in school. But one thing is for sure, I’m not going to slack on exercise again! I’m going to use the trainer till I’m out of sessions and then continue exercising on my own again.
I’ve noticed that I feel a lot happier and more satisfied with myself when I’m routinely working out as opposed to sitting around my house. Honestly, I’m tired of making excuses for myself. I’m stuck with my body until I die… So if I’m not happy with it, I need to make it better.
My eventual goal is to become more toned. Weight loss isn’t a huge deal for me right now. I do want to get a few tattoos on my legs, chest and abdomen. And hey, tattoos are art, and they should be shown off, so I don’t want to feel like I have to hide them because I’m not happy with the way I look.
